Temporary accomodation notification duty requirements
What information is required to be collected?
There is not yet a single nationally mandated TAND notification form. Government guidance says notifications should be made using existing data-sharing arrangements and local authority case-management systems; where systems cannot support this, notifications can be sent by email.
The guidance does, however, specify the information that a notification to health visiting should contain:
- child's name and date of birth
- confirmation that the child is now in temporary accommodation
- temporary accommodation address and postcode
- parent's contact number
- name of the person reachable on that number.
